 DROP GREED and WALK WITH CONTENTMENT

 1 Timothy 6:6-8 says:

“But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be herewith content.”

When a person thinks he or she can outsmart the Lord, the result is ungodly sorrow. What makes man think he can outsmart God is greed and materialistic tendencies.

I was once in a position where I could make millions for myself, but the word in 1 Timothy 6:6 reminded me that if I die I go with nothing. So I restrained myself from defrauding people to balance my life.

Hear me you must learn to avoid temptation that has to do with lust of the eye, the flesh and pride of life, let your integrity be uniquly recorded in heaven. 

May the lord help us all in Jesus name.
